1. You need to start with downloading Alexa app from Google Play Store. Then, install the app and sign in using your Amazon account.
2. Now, tap ‘settings’ option on your Samsung phone.
3. Under ‘settings’ menu, tap ‘advanced features’.
4. You will find an option named ‘device assistance app’ under ‘advanced features’, which you need to select.
5. Now, select ‘Alexa’ and voila! Your voice assistant is going to change from Google Assistant to Amazon Alexa.

After following the steps, you will see a prompt on the screen of your phone in which you will be asked whether or not you want to change your voice assistant to Alexa instead of Google Assistant. You will be asked for permissions to which you will have to tap ‘allow’. With this, you will be able to use Alexa. You can make any request to Alexa, call and message your family members.
